Josh was born on January 18, 1973 in Fort Smith, AR to William Howard Norman and Danna Presson Norman. He graduated from Southside High School in 1991. He then attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After graduating, he returned home to work for his family business, The Norman Company. Josh has successfully been running the business as President and CEO. Josh loved working with his dedicated employees and customers throughout the years.
On October 5, 2002, Josh married the love of his life, Jennifer. They would have celebrated their 24th anniversary this year. Josh and Jennifer proudly raised their daughter, Lily and son, Webb together. Josh had a love for music, fishing, cooking, sailing, cars and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Josh will be remembered as a great husband, father, son and faithful friend.
Josh was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents, and father-in-law, William Kelly Newton. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Newton Norman; daughter Lillian Elizabeth Norman; son William Webb Norman; father Howard Norman (Kim); sister Aynsley Wells (Scott); brother Zeke Norman; his sisters-in-law Sara Lane (Chad) and Lucy Lundy (Michael); his mother-in-law Marilyn Newton; his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many wonderful friends.
A celebration of Josh’s life will be held Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00am in Roebuck Chapel of First United Methodist Church, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Trinity Catholic School, Ronald McDonald House Fort Smith, and Good Samaritan Clinic.
