He was a graduate of Brazoswood High School and Southwest Texas State University. He lived in San Marcos, Texas and was an operations manager for Amazon. He was of the Baptist faith.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents Ollie and Lavada Marlar and Tom and JoAnn Hooper, an aunt Sarah Hooper and uncle Harley Hooper.
He is survived by his parents Tom and Martha Marlar, sister Angie Marlar, nieces Meagan Marlar and Ashlyn McCreary, nephew Drew Collins and son Ashton Marlar, girlfriend Victoria Lewis and several cousins and aunts.
Graveside service and burial will be Saturday Nov 4th at 2:00pm at Measles Cemetery in Lavaca, Arkansas. Under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
