Karen Denise Evans, 45, of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday November 30, 2016. She was born June 3, 1971 in Little Rock to James E. and Carole Ann Harris. She was a LPN and worked at AHEC, Mercy Hospital Fort Smith and Fianna Hills Health and Rehab.
Visitation will be Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home from 6:00 PM-7:00 PM with the Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM. Mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Barling. Private interment of ashes will be at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by her daughter, Abby Glass of Booneville; sons, Matthew Glass of Fort Smith and Levi Glass of Fort Smith; and her parents, Jim and Carole Harris of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Allen Schluterman, Chris Schluterman, Mickey Harris, Ray Harris, Brad Evans and David Glass.
