Kathleen "Kathy" Grace Reed

Kathleen “Kathy” Grace Reed of Centerton, Arkansas, and formerly Fort Smith, Arkansas and Stuttgart, Arkansas, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Rogers, AR. Kathy was born on May 14, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts. Kathy was a wife and mother for over 40 years and a grandmother for 19 years.

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Travis Porter Reed of Casscoe, Arkansas; her parents, John Patrick O’Hare and Grace Margaret McLean O’Hare of Hull, Massachusetts; sister, Patricia O’Hare Donahue of Venice, Florida; brother, Johnny O’Hare of Hull, Massachusetts; and brother, William “Billy” Michael O’Hare of West Roxbury, Massachusetts.

Kathy is survived by three sons, Shawn Reed (wife Deanna Reed) of Rogers, Arkansas, Timothy Reed of Centerton, Arkansas and Travis Reed (wife Molly Reed) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and six grand children, Kathleen “Katie” and Patrick Reed of Rogers, Arkansas, Makayla Reed of Centerton, and Landon, Parker, and Trevor Reed of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Kathy is also survived by her brother, George O’Hare (wife Dee O’Hare) of Hingham, Massachusetts, her brother, Robert O’Hare (wife Donna O’Hare) of Weymouth, Massachusetts; sister, Maureen Perry (husband Tom Perry) of Weymouth; and sister-in-law, Terry O’Hare of Hull, Massachusetts.

Funeral service will be Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel from 10:00 AM to service time on Monday. The family requests memorials be made to the donor’s choice.
