Kathy James

Kathy spent her years as a registered nurse, workng in home health where she found her calling for caring for others. She was an amazing mother to her daughter Cindy Carolina and her son Benjamin James. She was an avid reader, she loved nursing journals, non-fiction and everything in between. When she wasn't reading her and her husband Leonard spent a lot of their time in their camper together. There was nothing in the world she loved more than her two grandchildren, Victoria Carolina and Brooklyn James.

They were the light of her life and she loved nothing more than spending time with them. She was such a great friend, and she always kept up with everything going on with everyone. She was known as the talker of the group, and she was always the one behind the camera. Finding pictures of her was hard, because she always made sure photos were taken of everyone else.

She was so loved and is going to be missed by so many.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard; her daughter, Cindy Carolina of Fort Smith; her son, Benjamin James of Lavaca, AR; her sister, Marilyn Peterson of Portland, OR; her brother, Billy Bob Mock of Springdale, AR; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 AM Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Living Faith Missionary Baptist Church, and the Memorial Service will be begin at 11 AM.
