

Our beloved husband, dad, and Pappap, Dr. Kent Magrini, 67, passed into the comfort of God his Savior on January 20, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born January 22, 1953 in Okmulgee, OK to Peter Marino Magrini and Leona Lorraine (Lehew) Magrini.
After graduating from Okmulgee High School, Kent graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma where he was President of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He attended the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine and, after graduation, established his private practice in Fort Smith in 1979. He established the Foot Health Center in 1984. Kent served as past President and Vice President of the Arkansas Podiatric Medical Association and was appointed to the Arkansas Examination Board of Podiatric Medicine by Governors Clinton, Tucker, and Huckabee. He was past President of the Arkansas Board of Podiatric Medicine for 12 years. Kent was a past board member of The American Cancer Society and he served on the medical staff of Mercy, Sparks and Crawford Memorial hospitals. He was a Cooper Clinic physician from 1996-2017. Kent was a former eucharistic minister, usher, and sacristan at Christ the King Catholic Church. He served on the Christ the King Parish Council and school board, and was officer of the Trust and endowment Fund at Christ the King Church. Kent was a former football and track coach at Trinity Jr. High.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Tery; two sons, Zachary Magrini of Houston, TX, Kyle Magrini and wife Amy of Houston, TX; one brother, Peter Magrini and wife Endang of Ramona, CA; one sister, Karen Magrini of Okmulgee, OK; “mother in law, Imogene Fields of Fort Smith; sister in law, Vicki and husband Bill McPherson of Conway”; seven grandchildren- Jadon, Trevan, Mason, Miles, Autumn, Crosby and Knox.
Kent was appreciative of the many close friends he had: his ATO brothers, former Foot Health Center employees, surgery center staff, fellow doctors and nurses, and Trinity school staff and coaches.
Family would like to thank the wonderful nurses at Mercy Hospital who cared so lovingly for him.
Rosary will be said at 9:30 AM Tuesday, January 26, 2021, with Funeral Mass to follow at 10 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Committal of cremains will be private at Christ the King Columbarium. Services and cremation are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
The service will be live- streamed, at Immaculate Conception’s Facebook page or their website.
Honorary Pall-Bearers will be Bill Bryant, Tim Alexander, Doug Eudey, Benny Westphal, Evan Young and Bill Hines.
