Larey "Andy" Kye Carter

Larey (Andy) Kye Carter, 76, born on May 20th, 1946. Passed away in Ft. Smith, Ar. On June 12th 2022. He is survived by his wife, Katena Carter. Two sons Andy Carter and Dustin Carter, and two daughters Caitlyn Sizemore and Cierra Sizemore. A brother Joe and wife Bernice (Snooks) Carter. Many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Kye Carter and Vera Elizabeth Tapley Carter. Three sisters, Geneva Shelton, Verda Fleming and Hazel Carter. Two brothers Calvin Carter and Harold Carter.

Larey was a veteran of the US Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. You could always find him in the woods or on the water.

In his lifetime, Carter was able to meet and befriend many people who considered him family. He will be missed greatly by everyone who knew him.

Graveside service will be 11:00am Thursday, June 16th, 2022 at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.
