

Laura F. Juelfs, age 51, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017. She was born June 13, 1966 in San Jose, California to Len Hale and Glenda Phillips. She was a 1985 graduate of Roland High School. Laura married Rick Juelfs on February 20, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She worked as a Whirlpool employee for 27 years and most recently, worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for PRN Staffing, where she displayed a caring heart and genuine compassion for her patients.
Laura enjoyed weekend outings on her motorcycle with her husband and friends, collecting ceramic bears and other bear collectibles, and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and relaxing on the beach.
Laura is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Eugene and Robbie Phillips; paternal grandparents, Jesse and Marie Hale; and grandson, Jaxen Fleetwood. She is survived by her husband, Rick; seven children, daughter, Christina (Evan) Fleetwood; daughter, Betty Mae (Wesley) Dean; a son, Tyler Turner (fiancé, Tiffany Lorenzen); a daughter, Tabatha Turner; son, David Juelfs, son Dillon Juelfs; daughter, Shannon (John) Bock; mother, Glenda Phillips; father, Len (Delores) Hale; sister, Stephanie (Larry) Mann; a brother, Jordan (Kellie) Hale; brother-in-law, John (Kathy) Juelfs; sister-in-law, Diane (Bill) Nelson; and a step-sister, Lela Rust; seven grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Laura touched are invited to Fentress Mortuary, for a viewing at 1805 North “A” Street, Fort Smith, Ar. 72901, from 5pm to 7pm, on Thursday, October 19, 2017, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat. Funeral service will be held at Evangel Temple; Friday, October 20, 2017, at 10:30am.
