

LaWanna Lynn Ireland, 52, passed away November 7, 2014 at home in Liberty, Oklahoma. She was born on October 14, 1962 in Fort Smith to her parents, Wanda Eads (Mother), Lloyd Hardwick (Father) and Chuck Eads (Step-Father). LaWanna was a dedicated registered nurse, nursing instructor and director of nursing for over 25 years, serving the Fort Smith, Van Buren and Fayetteville, AR area as well as the Pocola and Sallisaw, OK area. She enjoyed working in her garden, spending time with all her grand babies, especially dedicating herself to her husband and love of her life, Pastor Thomas Ireland, whom she spent 25 years of marriage with upon her passing. LaWanna was a caring, passionate and loving mother, grandmother and wife. LaWanna loved the Lord through her evangelism by Ireland Ministries with the help of her beloved husband, Pastor Thomas Ireland. She was an advocate for Autism Awareness. She also loved relaxing on her front porch, spending time with her husband,enjoying the outdoors and watching her granddaughter Mia Cooper enjoy life to the fullest. She is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Hardwick and step-father Chuck Eads. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Thomas Ireland, whom is also a paramedic for Patford EMS in Muldrow and firefighter for the Liberty Fire Department; one son, Ryan Cooper and his wife Alice and their four children, Mia, Amy, Noah and Lilly Cooper of Muldrow; one daughter, Lori Lynn Freeman and her husband Adam and their two daughters, Emily and Peyton Jane Freeman of Liberty, her mother Wanda Dyer Eads of Muldrow, three brothers J.R. Hardwick and his wife Liz of Muldrow, Darrell Eads and his wife Cindy of Muldrow and Dennis Eads of San Bernadino, CA. Services will be 2:00 P.M Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ryan Cooper, Cody Click, Christian Ireland, Timothy Ireland, Trey Hardwick and Jordan Hardwick. The family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the LaWanna Ireland Memorial and Expense Fund through Regions Bank.
