Leo Edward McCabe

Leo Edward McCabe, 83 of Fort Smith passed away Monday, September 2, 2014 in Greenwood. He was born April 12, 1931 in Darby, PA to the late Vincent and Claira McCabe. His Grandparents emigrated from Ireland. He was a chef in the Army and managed Dairy Queens. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Ft. Smith National Cemetery Pavilion. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

Mr. McCabe is survived by his wife Diane McCabe of the home, three daughters Peggy McCabe Price of Ft. Smith, Patti McCabe of Michigan, and Claire Cox of Idaho, two sons Lee McCabe of Ft. Smith and Jeff McCabe and his wife Caroline from California, two brothers Raymond and Richard McCabe of Pennsylvania as well as 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
