Linda Koch

Linda was a graduate of Fort Smith High. She was a faithful past member of Christ the King Catholic Church, and more currently a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Linda was very involved in both parishes as her children and grandchildren went through school. Linda was born to Will R. Doss and Geraldine Doss in 1941. She loved mother and daddy very much and took loving care of them in their elderly stages. Linda met and married Ray Koch in 1959, her husband of 65 years. “Ray and Linda” were favorites among many friends and family. Linda was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. Linda loved doing anything with family. She loved family get-togethers and Koch family reunions in Prairie View, Arkansas and Shoal Creek, Arkansas. She loved going to her kids and grandkids ballgames and activities. Linda also loved to talk about her family. She never missed an opportunity to brag on her kids and especially her grandkids. Linda also provided daycare for family and friends throughout the years. She loved taking care of children and spoiling them.

Linda was proceeded in death by her mother Geraldine Doss, her father Will R. Doss, and her brother Bob Doss. Linda is survived by her husband Ray Koch, her son Tim Koch and wife Courtney, her daughter Kelly Wingfield, and her son Josh Koch. Linda was “Nanny” to grandchildren Grant Koch and wife Josie, and Anna Koch, and Rachel Lensing and husband Ryan, and to Landon Moses and Haylei Moses.

A visitation will be held at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR on Thursday, August 29th, 2024 at 6:00 pm followed by a Rosary Service at 6:30. The Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, August 30th, 2024 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 22 N 13th St, Fort Smith, AR followed by a burial ceremony at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5720 Wilson Rd, Fort Smith, AR. Then followed by lunch at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall.
