Lizzie Belle Collyar

Lizzie Belle Collyar, 96, of Fort Smith, died April 3, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born November 8, 1915 in Spadra, AR to John Edward and Martha Leanna Lewis Sult. She was a retired employee of Katherine’s Dress Shop, a homemaker, and member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Herbert & wife Barbara Collyar of Alma, AR., John Edward Collyar of Lake Charles, LA., and Jerry Collyar of Ratcliff, AR; daughter in law, Cookie Collyar of Fort Smith; son in law, Edgar Wiley of Fort Smith; ten grandchildren, Kim Montague, Debbie Flickinger, Edie Wiley, Laurie Harding, Tamhra Barnett, Ritchey, Michael, & Travis Collyar, Nickie Oldham, and Tasha Jones; and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne O. “Chick” Collyar; one daughter, Roseann Wiley; one son, Jimmy Collyar.

Graveside service will be Friday, April 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM
