
Louis Webb Barry,84, of Fort Smith passed away Monday, November 8, 2004 in Fort Smith. He was retired management at Midland Bowl in Fort Smith, he was inducted into the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame, and was past president of the Arkansas Tennis Association. He was a previous publicity agent with MCA-Desilu in Beverly Hills, California. He was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII, where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Fort Smith. Rosary Service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2004 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with a Memorial Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2004. A private family committal service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jerry Walrod, Irvin Sternberg, Dr. Jim Yandell, Bernard Von Hatten, Frank Shaw, Henry Ledford, Ed Newlin and Ed Valley. He is survived by his wife Lorene; three sons: Bryant Barry and his wife Susan of Chicago, Illinois; Ben Barry and his wife Susan of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Bart Barry of Fort Smith, Arkansas; tweleve grandchildren; Blake Barry of Chicago, Illinois; Melissa Carpenter of Dallas, Texas; Brett Barry of Houston, Texas; Jessica Tisdale of Denver, Colorado; Jillian Barry of Nashville, Tennessee; Jana Barry of Nashville, Tennessee; Jacqueline Barry of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Ashlea Gowen of Springdale, Arkansas; Candice Barry of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Wendy Geren of Fort Smith; Emily Barry of Fort Smith and Sarah Ransom of Chicago, Illinois; sixteen great grandchildren.
