Lourdes R. Sulit, a resident of Arkansas, died on March 27, 2023 in Mercy Hospice Inpatient unit at the age of 83. Lourdes, was born in Iloilo City on September 28, 1939 to Fausta Jabican Roja and Esteban Roja. She graduated her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Central Philippine University in the year 1961. She left for the United States to work as a nurse until her retirement. She was a devoted wife to Danilo Naval Sulit, a Filipino doctor. She was a generous provider for the family. She has a great sense of humor and a gentle adviser known to many. She left in grief her husband, 2 siblings (the other 5 are deceased), 15 nephews and nieces and 21 grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Visitation will be 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM Saturday, April 1, 2023, with the Rosary Service to immediately follow the visitation. Funeral Mass will start at 10:00 AM, all at Mercy Crest Chapel in Barling, AR. Interment of ashes will be at a later date in the Philippines.
