Luong Thi Nguyen, 91, of Fort Smith, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was born May 1, 1924 in Vietnam. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Re Nguyen and Ngoai Nguyen; husband, Cat Nguyen; a daughter, Tu Nguyen; two sisters, Dai Nguyen and Giap Nguyen and a brother, Tua Nguyen.
Rosary will be 5:00 PM Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Mass will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by four daughters, Thien Nguyen and husband Truc Vo of Fort Smith, Julie Nguyen and husband of Francis Hoa Mach of Fort Smith, Diana Nguyen and husband Dien Pham of Fort Smith and Sheila Nguyen of Fort Smith; one son, Sinh Nguyen and wife Cuu of Fort Smith; son-in-law, Hai Nguyen of Houston, TX; sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
