She attended the University of Central Arkansas, and in 1952, graduated from the Arkansas Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Little Rock as a registered nurse.

In her retirement she visited her five children and 14 grandchildren spread across five states, two coasts and two countries. Coralie loved hosting Christmas and bringing the children and grandchildren together at her house. She will be sorely missed by her devoted family.
