Marilyn Jean Myers, 79, of Barling died October 3, 2010 in Fort Smith. She was a former employee of Hunt’s Department Store and the Colony Shop, and former member of the Massard United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Rogers and Nancy Lamoreux both of Fort Smith; brother-in-law Ralph Myers of Alma; two grandchildren, Kelly Lamoreux-Acosta and Thomas Lamoreux; three great grandchildren, Hannah Rankins, Chase & Seth Acosta; and one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence E. Myers.
Graveside service will be Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM.
