

Mary Allison Feero was born in Frederick, Oklahoma, on June 22, 1927. She entered Heaven’s gates on February 5th, 2017 while surrounded by her beloved family. A cherished grandma, mother, and wife, Mary was an avid moviegoer, doll maker, and Hank Williams fan. Over the years she collected stunning “Gone With The Wind” memorabilia, records (all genres), dvd’s and can boast seeing many of the classics in theater. She loved spending time with her family and was adored by everyone that had the pleasure to meet her.
Mary Allison married her late husband and handsome sailor from Maine, Jonathan H. Feero, in McAlester, Oklahoma in 1947. Mary and her husband lived in the Oklahoma City area. Settling in Midwest City, OK to raise their children. Mary moved to Peachtree Assisted Living in Fort Smith, AR in 2014 after the passing of her husband. She loved all the residents and care staff there. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Brady and Ada Jones; two siblings, Edna and Bernice; and precious husband, Jonathan.
Mary is survived by her two daughters, Sherry L. Cheek and husband TC of Durant, OK and Gwendolyn K. Haskins and husband Michael of McAlester, OK; her two sons, Jonathan M. Feero and wife Dana of St. Roberts, MO and Bryan K. Feero and wife Robin of Greenwood; her brother, Jack Jones of South Dakota; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family will meet with friends to remember Mary at the home of her granddaughter, Kelly and John Phillips at 3602 Old Excelsior Road, Greenwood on Friday night, February 10, from 6-8pm. Mary’s Celebration Service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 11 at The First Baptist Church EDGE located at 2 West Center Street, Greenwood, and then family will accompany her to rest next to her beloved husband at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, OK with a graveside service at 3:30pm that afternoon under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
