Mary Lee Hawkins, 73, of Fort Smith, passed from this life September 16, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born September 9, 1942, in North Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Harry and Margaret Jordan Hull. Mary had worked as a cashier at Braum’s for several years and was of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of Virgil Hawkins.
Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Melinda Hawkins of Van Buren; her grandson, Levi Hawkins and one sister, Patricia Mathers of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Hawkins; two brothers, Harry and William Hull and two sisters, Barbara Swinford and Linda Crabtree.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 to 4:00pm Friday, September 18, 2015 in Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel, 4211 State Line Road, Fort Smith. A private family burial will be at a later time. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
