Mary Lee Kulin

Mary Lee married John C. (Chuck) Kulin in 1946 and they moved to Girard, OH, where they lived until Chuck’s death in 1981. Mary Lee was a banker for 33 years at Bank One (now JP Morgan Chase) in Girard. She also worked at First National Bank, Fort Smith.

After moving back to Fort Smith, Mary Lee was a member of Fort Smith First United Methodist Church for 41 years, and a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was also a volunteer at Sparks Hospital for almost 30 years and a volunteer with the Methodist Village Auxiliary for many years.

Mary Lee is survived by her niece, Karla Gilliam; great-nieces, Lee Ann Pendergrass and Sammie Warren; and members of Chuck’s family in Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Lola Mae Mangrum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Fort Smith First United Methodist Church, 200 N. 15th, Fort Smith AR 72901; or the UAFS Foundation, P. O. Box 3649, Fort Smith AR 72913-9921.

At Mary Lee’s request, there will be no local service. Cremation will be by Edwards Funeral Home, and Mary Lee will be buried with Chuck in Girard, OH.
