Mary Nicholas, 88 of Fort Smith passed away Friday, November 23, 2012. She was born June 29, 1924 in Mesquite, TX to the late Frank & Della Lee Bowles. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a Homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Harold Nicholas.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by her sister-in-law; Glenda A. Bowles of Paris, two brothers; Clarence N. Bowles of Williams, CA and Hurchel L. Bowles of Paris, along with many other family members.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2012 at the funeral home.
