

Mary Frances Pollock, 82, of Bonanza, went to be with her Lord December 13, 2014, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born October 19, 1932, in Fort Smith, to the late Harry and Victoria Bridges. Mary was preceded in death by seven brothers: Paul, Vern, Frank, Carl, Charles, Billy and Harry; and one sister, Esther. She was a Methodist and faithfully served the Bonanza Methodist Church for 55 years as their pianist. Mary had worked, as an operator, for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and as a construction secretary for 25 years. After retirement, she worked with her husband at his business, Art’s Auto Supply. She had been a dedicated member of the Bonanza Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Arthur; a step-daughter, Linda Phillips of Rudy, Arkansas; her sister, Betty Lennier of Van Buren, Arkansas; her brother, Bobby Bridges of Bonanza, Arkansas; a granddaughter, Amanda; a grandson, Benjamin; three great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, all who loved her dearly. Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at White Bluff Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home.
