Michael Leon Brumfield 67, of Howe, Oklahoma, went to glory on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 at his home. He was born August 9, 1951 to Edwin Leon Brumfield and Wanda Ruth Happeney Valentine. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike was a United States Air Force Veteran after serving 10 years working as a heavy equipment operator and C130 load master. After being medically retired from the military. Mike established Alpaca Rescue and Shelter which he operated until his death.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years Shelly Hazel (King) Brumfield; daughter, Nora Mishell Head (James) of Howe, OK; grandchildren, Levi Brumfield (Mary) of Walters, OK., Nora D Peterson (Trevor) of Hontubby, OK., Audrianna Russell of Howe, OK. and Lorretta L. Brake (Stevan) of Howe, OK.; great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Natalia Peterson; sisters, Cheryl Gatewood and Karen Carpenter (Ronnie) all of Lancaster, OH.; brother, Roger Brumfield (Susan) of Amanda, OH. and adopted brother, Jon P. Earp (Turkey) of Howe, OK.
