Michael L. Carson, 61, of Fort Smith, died December 11. 2013. He was born May 5, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Arlene and Essie Lee Johnson Carson. He was a concrete finisher for the Seiler Building Corp.
He is survived by four daughters, Vivian Gee of Sallisaw, Millie Petree of Sallisaw, Judy Rudant of Beaver Creek, Ohio, and Elaine Treat of Chilton, Texas; one son, Larry Lowe of Sallisaw; one sister, Winnie Turner of Dallas, Texas; five brothers, Larry Carson of Tulsa, Morris Carson of Dallas, Texas, Lee Dwain Johnson of California, Lroy Carson of Dallas, Texas, and Jinny Ray Carson of Dallas, Texas; numerous grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Effie Joyce Carson and his parents and two sisters, Darlene Carson and Patricia Ann Johnson.
Graveside will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM in Buffington Cemetery near Sallisaw. Cremation was under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home
