Michael William Hofrichter

Michael William Hofrichter, 75, of Fort Smith passed away on Friday, September 16th, 2016. Mr. Hofrichter was retired from the 188th Wing, Arkansas ANG. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. In his free time, his family described him as a “Jack of all trades, but master of none”. He enjoyed his family time, and photo editing, and was a craftsman and cook. The Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 19 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 also at St. Boniface with the Interment to follow at Holy Cross cemetery, with military honors. Mr. Hofrichter is survived by his wife Dolores, and two daughters, Laura Rossi and her husband Nickolas, of Brooklyn, NY, and Melissa Jones and her husband Shawn, of Claremore, OK. He also has four sons, Michael and Greg, both of Fort Smith. Marc, and his wife Molly, of Tomball, TX, and Eric and his wife Sarah, of Scotland. He has two sisters; JoAnn Barr of Fort Smith, and Carolyn Clark, also of Fort Smith, and one brother, John and his wife Jeannie, of Fort Smith. Six grandchildren, Lucas White, James Hofrichter, Sienna Rossi, Hailey and Conner Ramsey and Isaac Jones. Pallbearers for Mr. Hofrichter will be, Scott Barr, Brian Barr, Jon Keizer, Bob Eckart, Austin Davis and Matthew Kennedy. Members of the “Old Guard” from the munitions branch, of the 188th Wing.
