Mildred Albert

Mildred Lou Wright Albert, 81, passed away March 7, 2018. She was born November 25, 1936 in Fort Smith to Paul K. Wright and Mamie (Futral) Wright. She was an Operator for A T & T in Memphis, retiring after 30 years. Mildred was of the Methodist faith and she was a special caregiver for many people in her life.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Don Burton and Linzy Albert; and her daughter, Theresa Burton.

She is survived by one step-daughter, Tammy Burton Bartmier and her husband, Rusty of Fort Smith; one sister, Paula Sue Beasley of Gulfport, MS; two brothers, Charles K. Wright and his wife, Joyce of Fort Smith and Ron Dee Wright and his wife, Katie of Fort Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her special caregivers, Donna Barrett and Thaya Carroll.

Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.

Graveside service will 2:00 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville, TN under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
