Mildred Pat Cooper

Mildred “Pat” Cooper, 91, of Fort Smith died May 28, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born March 28, 1922 in Blue, Oklahoma to Jake and Burwell Reynolds Sims. She was the owner/operator of Main Amusement in Fort Smith. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and was a volunteer for Stepping Stone School and Miss Laura’s Visitor Center. She is survived by one daughter, Pam and husband Danny Byrd of Fort Smith; one son, Mike Bock of Fort Smith; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Max Bock and her second husband Melvin Ellis Cooper. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Bock, Brad Franchione, Phillip, Patrick, and Danny Byrd, Bobby Fritschie, Sherry Scoggin, and Jonathan McClain.
