Nancy was born on July 9, 1952, in Charleston, where she grew up and attended Northside High School. After completing her education, she embarked on a successful career, becoming the previous owner of the Well Liquor and Jenny Lind One Stop. Her dedication and hard work made her a respected figure in the business community.
Nancy’s warm and kind-hearted nature endeared her to everyone she met. She was known for her infectious smile and selfless demeanor. Her friends and family will always cherish the memories of her unwavering care and beauty inside and out.
In her free time, Nancy enjoyed indulging in her passion for gardening as a member of the River Valley Master Gardeners. Her green thumb was evident in the vibrant blooms that adorned her home.
Nancy’s devotion to her family was unparalleled. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kelly Acosta, and her husband Kermit; her son, Thomas Lamoreux, and his partner Kristen Qualls; her sister, Kathy Rogers, and her husband Larry; her cherished granddaughter, Hannah Horn, and her husband Chad; her granddaughters, Jadyn, Katelyn, and grandson Justin Qualls; and her great-grandchildren, Owen and Millie Horn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marilyn and Lawrence Myers, and her beloved husband, Tom Lamoreux.
To honor Nancy’s life, a visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10th, from 2pm to 4pm at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. A graveside service will follow on Monday, December 11th, at 1pm at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
