Nancy Louise Gisler Lensing, 89, of Barling, AR, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026. She was born on July 11, 1937, to the late Bill and Rita Cooper Gisler. Nancy was a teacher’s aide for Fort Smith Public Schools. She was a lifelong member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, where she served as organist and choir director for over 50 years. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Lensing; brother Bob Gisler and wife Louise, brother-in-law Ken Mackintosh, brother-in-law Art Corey, and son-in-law Daryl Justice.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Justice, two sons Steve Lensing and his wife Julie, and Alan Lensing and his wife Lynn; Grandchildren Chris and Asha Justice, Shannon and Michael Leek, Olivia and Nathan Norman, Matthew Lensing, Erin and Greg Toledo, Katie and Colt Nading; great grandchildren Emma and Bentley Leek, Landon and Lucy Justice, Wyatt Nading, Ellie Toledo and Stevie Norman; sisters, Sr. Mary Ann Gisler, Rita Rose Mackintosh and Virginia Corey.
Visitation will be from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, followed by the rosary service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
