Nancy, Jan and I were friends at college at University of Central Arkansas in Conway during my senior year. They were a fun and we often went to to dinner at the cafeteria, or pizza at Nancy's hand from a toaster. They were busy , fun and kind. I won't forget how much I loved them or how grateful I was for them the be in this world on my time.

In the early '80's, Nancy and I carpooled together from Ft. Smith to our teaching jobs in Mountainburg. She was a tremendous teacher and a fun and uplifting friend to work with at school. When she had Leukemia in 1992, several faculty members and friends donated plasma regularly for her. She rebounded and served her family and community for many later years. She was a light to many.

To Nancy's family, may you find peace in this terrible time of loss. Nancy and I were friends in high school. We have not kept up with each other in our adult lives, but I have often thought of her. In high school there were 5 of us close friends who always celebrated our October birthdays together. We always had so much fun! I am sure the angels are rejoicing listening to her beautiful voice.
