Nathaniel Jordan Benoit

Nathaniel Jordan Benoit, 31, of Fort Smith, died November 20, 2016 in Fort Smith. He was born February 5, 1985 in Fort Smith to Billy and Jody Shibley Benoit. Nathaniel was the Manager of Web Marketing and Design for Baldor Electric, Inc., and he attended Rye Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Billy and Jody Benoit of Greenwood; one sister, Stephanie and husband Brent Langston of Greenwood; his girlfriend, Kristen Morrison of Fort Smith; nephew, Bryson Langston of Greenwood; maternal grandmothers, Floy Talley of Barling and Audrey Brewer of Greenwood; and his best friend, Brian McDonald. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George W. Shibley; and paternal grandparents, Virgil C. and Opal B. Benoit and survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service will be Friday, November 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Rye Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Dora Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brian McDonald, Josh Barnard, Maverick Lawson, Chris Sampley, Steven Sampley, and Denver DeArmond.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Sampley, Colt Shibley, Taylor Shibley and Tyler Shibley.
