Norma Jean Reeves

Norma Jean Reeves, 68, went home to her Heavenly Father on November 22, 2012 . She was born April 27, 1944 in Van Buren to William and Lillie Bell (Brock) Shelly. She was retired from Therma Tru and was of the Pentecostal faith. Norma loved watching “TV Soaps”, playing Bingo, and shopping on Black Friday. She loved her dog “Freckles”, and she was most proud of her children, and she counted their success as one of the biggest accomplishments in her life. She is survived by two daughters, Stacie Anhalt of Paris, AR and Mary Winters and her husband Shanon, of Alma, AR; three sons, Edmond Reeves and his wife Sally, of Van Buren, Mike Reeves and his wife Carol, of Van Buren, and Bennie Roolon of Kibler, AR; one brother, Leon Shelly of Kibler, AR; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, November 26, 2012 in Edwards Van-Alma Chapel in Van Buren, with Reverend Mike Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Sarah Grove cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren. Pallbearers will be: Justin, Bradley, and Scott Reeves, Seth Anhalt, Chayce Cockrell, and Chanston Winters. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Eddie Ray Reeves, Amanda Reeves, Cody Cockrell, Keli Winters, and Allysa Pajarillo. Memorials may be sent to: Don W.
