O'Neal (Neal) Odom

O’Neal (Neal) Odom, 80, of Fort Smith, originally form Mansfield, Arkansas, passed from this life May 6, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born September 23, 1934 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas to the late Silvie and Maudie Odom. Neal was a member at Central Baptist Church and worked for many years for West Tree Service as a tree surgeon.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Delores; two daughters, Debbie Clark of Allen, Texas and Rhonda Williams of Fort Smith; two sons, Phillip Odom of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Jeffery Odom of Jenny Lind; a sister, Faye Ryan of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and a half-sister, Sylvia Odom of Alabama; nine grandchildren, Kristin Williams, Korenda Kennon, Meghan Hamiln, Alex Gilbert, Kandice Odom, Nathaniel Odom, Abigayle Odom, Rachel Odom and Christine Odom, as well as seven great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Rick, Sandra and Denny.

A Celebration of Neal’s Life will begin at 10:00am Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to immediately follow. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
