Ora Lee Taylor

Ora Lee Taylor, 83, of Pocola, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016, in Spiro. She was born November 11, 1932 in Fort Smith to the late Clyde and Gertrude Dixon. She was retired from GenCorp Polymer Products after twenty-one years and she worked for Sam’s Club for thirteen years. She was a member of Park Hill Church of Christ in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gene Taylor.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Lora Horne and husband Robert of Pocola; son, Roy David Taylor and wife Wendy of Hackett; sisters, Joyce Branham of Fort Smith, Janet Goforth of Charleston, and Freda Dunn of Fort Smith; six grandchildren, Brandi Billy and husband Coleman of Cameron, Ashley Billy and husband Dustin of Pocola, Seth Morton of Pocola, Dustin Taylor of Conway, AR, Miranda Taylor of Spiro, and Christy Tuck of Pocola and twelve great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Seth Morton, Coleman Billy, Dustin Billy, Glenn Tucker, Colton Billy and Jason Gist.

The family will visit with friends Wednesday evening from 5:30 PM-7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
