Patricia Suzanne Merrill

Patricia Suzanne Merrill, 79, of Fort Smith, died August 14, 2010 in Fort Smith. She was born October 21, 1930 in Oklahoma City, OK to Sam and Anna Belle Martindale Caperton. She was a retired employee of A.T. & T after 35 years service, a member of the Pocola First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Telephone Pioneers.

She is survived by two sons, Monty and wife Cindy Miller of Kansas City, MO and Mickey and wife Michelle Miller of Fort Smith; and one brother, Ralph Caperton of Fort Smith; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dexter Boyd Merrill and two brothers Sam and Johnny Caperton.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Miller, Jerry Valdepena, Jeff Euler, Captain Ron Brooks, Ralph Caperton, Jr. and Terry Caperton.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM
