

Patsy S. Schrodt, 66 of Fort Smith, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016. Born in Poteau, Oklahoma, Patsy was a homemaker, a retired public school teacher, and was active in past family businesses. She was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church, Children’s Service League, Ben Geren Women’s Golf Association and a member of Welcome Neighbor.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 8, 2016 at Goddard United Methodist Church with a private family committal service at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Friends may gather with family in the Great Room of Goddard United Methodist Church at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, prior to the memorial service.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ron Schrodt, a son, Jared Schrodt of Bellevue, Washington, a daughter, Katy Prater and her husband Cody of Fort Smith and grandson Owen Prater, brother Max Manlove and his wife Delores of Poteau, brother Don Manlove and Charlotte Prody of Fort Smith, sister Sandra Coffman of Fort Smith, mother-in law, Norma Schrodt of Poteau, two brother-in-laws, Charles Schrodt and his wife Kathy of Stigler and Jim Schrodt of Poteau, two nieces and five nephews.
