Patty Debitha Gipson Elkins born Jan 20,1941 in Muldrow OK to John Ermon & Clara Gipson and went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 27, 2024. She was one of eleven children, 9 of which made it to adulthood. She married the love of her life Charles Elkins when she was 17 years old. She went to Cosmetology school working in that industry for years. She had one daughter Judy and later her and Charles started Elkins Sales Company. She was a member of the Crawford County Mounted Patrol for years during those she served as treasurer and many other capacities. She leaves behind a daughter Judy & Husband James, one brother Tommy, a Grandson Jeremy and wife Jazmin and numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. Special friends Dennis, Cindy & Haden Huggins and Frank Mathews and a special thanks to Jody Ford, Janus Terry and Glee Cosner.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 5 – 7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Edwards Funeral Home chapel, with burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetery.
Pall-bears are Jeremy Eichling, Mack Ford, Mike Gipson, Ermond Gipson, Tommy Jones, Bob Alsup. Honorary Pall-bears, Dick Cosner, Tim Dunn, Charles Norris, Dennis Huggins, Jim Locovar & Tommy Gipson.
