Peggy Ann Yoakley, 68, of Clarksville, AR, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025. She was born on February 15, 1957, in Boise, Idaho to the late Ralph Hoppensteadt and Deloris Shipman Hoppensteadt. Peggy was of the Christian faith; she was a loving wife, mother, and her grandkids were her world. She was a very dedicated nurse; she truly loved her job and taking care of people. Peggy was everybody’s mama, she loved everybody. In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Monte Yoakley and a sister, Julie Freeland.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Feikema (Jimmy Moore) of Lamar, AR; her son, Jason Reames and his wife Michael Ann, of Clarksville, AR; a sister, Kelly Eveld and her husband Doug, of Conway, AR; a brother, Walt Hoppensteadt and his wife Vickie, of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Ethan Owings (Kira Mooney) of Jacksonville, AR, Evan Owings of San Diego, CA, Beau Feikema of Lamar, AR, Hannah Donahue of New Smyrna, FL, Jake Reames of Clarksville, AR and Max Reames of Clarksville, and one great grandchild, Bentley Dunaway, along with bonus daughter Maggie Curran and her husband Austin, and their children, bonus grandsons John and Mick.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
