Phillip Keith Kinsey Jr., 45, passed away on June 25, 2020. Phillip was the widower of Amanda LeAnn Kinsey-Basnett. They were high school sweethearts and spent many happy years together. They finally made it back to one another.

Phillip was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was the son of Louise Kinsey and the late Phillip Kinsey, Sr. He graduated from Southside High School and was employed with Baptist Health Hospital as a chef.

He loved to watch sports, in particular, the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was a loyal hogs fan, just like his father, and everybody knew it. Another one of his favorite past times was cooking. Phillip truly enjoyed creating meals everyone would devour. Some other hobbies of his were drawing, playing his guitar, reading and spending time with his friends playing games. Throughout his life and all his endeavors, he had a sweet, kind and loving spirit.

He is survived by his four loving children, Jessica Evans and her husband Zach Evans, Awbrey, Trey, and Madison Kinsey; his two grandchildren, Wyatt and Estella Evans; his mother, Louise Kinsey; and his two sisters, Andrea Bearden and her husband Randy Bearden, Kim McCormick and her husband Greg McCormick; his nephews, Greg, Garry, and Brett Bearden and his wife Mallory Bearden, Carter McCormick and Daniel Dew; as well as his mother-in-law, Cindy Basnett.

Viewing will be 9 AM till 6 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home. The family has chosen a private Celebration of Phillip’s Life. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Greg, Garry, Brett, Trey, Carter and Wyatt.

What can't you say about "Duece" Kinsey. He always smiled he had a living heart. I grew up with him and never had a boring time when he was around. Heaven gained a good man!! Prayers Kinsey family!!

Phil seeing this just broke my spirit man we went all the way back to the Taco Bell days we had some good times and had some good friends years after we all parted started our families we met up again working with each other goofing off joking laughing just like old days just in another place but we kept the same humble energy! I’m saddened to hear this but heart happy because your back with your wife enjoy heaven my brother rest well with the king!! My condolences to the family god bless he was a good soul!! Gone but never forgotten!
