Sweatman and Juanita Sweatman. She attended Kilgore Junior College where she was a Kilgore Rangerette and performed two years at the Cotton Bowl halftime show. Phyllis will be remembered by many for her homemade Christmas candy (divinity, caramel, praline, fudge, and peanut brittle) and her grandmother’s banana pudding. Phyllis’ love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was unending. She loved when the family was all together and when they had to leave, she would always be planning when they all would see each other again.
