Randy was born in 1959, the first born son of J.B. and Mary Hollis and their pride and joy. Randy was raised in rural Oklahoma north of Tulsa, and met his wife, Shelly, in a nearby small town. After marrying in 1980, they soon moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas, opened their first business, and began a family. They went on to have three children together, Brooke, Megan, and Lee, and were later blessed by two granddaughters.
With gratitude for the business mentorship of Frank Sanders, Sr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Randy spent his adult life as a successful entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropic donor to Fort Smith area initiatives and was especially supportive of youth sports. He was incredibly hard working and self-sacrificing, but also had an exceptionally fun-loving, creative, and pioneering spirit that his family and friends were blessed to know. Above all, he had an enduring, dependable strength and an abundance of daily energy geared towards improvement for the future.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jo Ellen Hollis, and his daughter Megan.
He is survived by his wife, Shelly, and his children, Brooke and Lee, his son-in-law Emiliano Ciarletti, as well as his grandchildren, Sveva and Cloe Ciarletti.
Memorial service will be held at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club.
