Randall (Randy) C. Fingerhut passed away peacefully on June 26, 2022, at the Circle of Life in Bentonville, Arkansas, at the age of 74. He was born on August 23, 1947, in Watseka, Illinois, to Robert and Patricia Fingerhut.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karen Fingerhut, two children, Colby (Charity) Fingerhut of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, and Katie (Michael) Malfettone of New York City, New York. Randy has one grandson, Callen Fingerhut and a granddaughter soon to arrive. Randy had four sisters, Jenny Blood, Penny Lane, Susie Wrede, and Barbie Offill, and many nieces and nephews. Family was the most important thing to Randy as he showered everyone with his humor, advice, and love.
He owned Fingerhut Funeral Home for a time and was employed at Edwards Funeral Home for approximately 40 years. Randy was an honorably discharged Vietnam Veteran from 1967 to 1969, as well as a charter member of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 467 and Disabled Veteran’s Commanders Club Member. Randy was involved in the Boys and Girls Club of Van Buren as a coach in basketball and baseball. He was a charter Member of Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren, Arkansas.
He will have a private burial at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
