Randy Nevels, 58, of Fort Smith, passed unexpectedly November 13, 2016, in Fort Smith. He was born February 18, 1958, in Fort Smith to the late Lewis and Margaret Barnard Nevels. Randy was a hardworking, good hearted man, generous, almost to a fault and was the reigning family horseshoe champion. He was an electrician for Rogers Electric.
He is survived by his brother, Loyd Nevels of Van Buren and his sisters, Judy Hodges of Fort Smith and Mickie Pittman of Spiro, Oklahoma. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephew, as well as extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margaret Cotton.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
