

Raymond Edward Coleman, 65, of Fort Smith, died May 16, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born August 27, 1946 in Shreveport, LA to James Genolin and Mildred G. Sharum Coleman. He was retired from Print Advertising, he was an author, long time participant of the Fort Smith Little Theater, a Mentor for AA, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, and he was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Coleman of Fort Smith; one brother, Kenneth and wife Barbara Coleman of Fort Smith; sister in law, Peggy Coleman of Plano, TX; aunt, Marcelle Sharum of Springdale, AR; nieces, Kristin Sanchez and Caroline Coleman; great niece, Kaelyn Sanchez; great nephew, Coleman Ryan Sanchez; lifelong friend, Fred Miller of Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his father Jim Coleman and brother, James Coleman.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 10:30 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Donny, Mike, Guy, Nicholas, and Kerry Kremers, and Rick Sharum.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5-7 PM.
