Dear Family of Raymond Combs, Jr, I am sorry to learn of your loss. I did not know your father but I believe we must be related. I appreciate his service to our country in WWII. I learned of his death when I visited the graves of my parents and grandparents at Steep Hill Cemetery and saw the burial site next to my grandfathers tombstone. My name is George Donald Combs and my father and grandfather were both named George Washington Combs. My grandfathers tombstone is the Woodsmen of the World "tree" which is adjacent to your fathers grave. I noticed that there is a burial nearby for another Raymond S. Combs, which I assume is your grandfather. My father was born in 1914 so he was only three years older than your father. I would like to hear what you know about how they were related. Again, my name is George Donald Combs. My telephone number is 479 806 1934. My email address is gdcombs@cox.net and my mailing address is 8600 Hwy. 271 South, Fort Smith, AR 72908. Sincerely yours, George D. Combs
