I was saddened to read this morning of Reiner's death.  I work at the dialysis center and had may conversations over the last 5 years with Reiner.  We would exchange stories of grandchildren and share pictures.
I was out all last week and was informed this morning upon return to work of his passing.  He was a proud father and grandfather.  Please accept my condolences.

There won't be another guy like Reiner, he was funny and knowledgeable and a nice guy who made a positive impact on many lives, we sure will miss him.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Frances and Reiner's entire family. Just a memory I wanted to share from 1995. I was playing drums in a country band with Reiner, Ed Edwards, and Joe Sanford. We had a job at the Eagles Nest (Hall) the weekend Arkansas was playing North Carolina in the Final 4. I was bummed out that I was going to miss the game. When we showed up to play that night, Reiner had put a TV on my bass drum so I could watch the game while playing. That's the kind of guy he was. What a beautiful man. Especially since we won the game...

So sorry to hear that 'Reiner' passed away. We knew each other from working at Baptist and for many years in the hospital. He was such a nice man and a good friend. He was so well liked by many of his hospital friends. I retired almost 2 yrs coming this September, as I was always kidding  with him "When you going to retire "Reiner"? He said he was going to just keep on working as long as the Good Lord would let him. Such a good friend and will be truly missed.

The man behind the “Reiner-ing” as we called it at Sparks/Baptist! But no matter the situation we called upon him for in surgery, he always had a smile and was willing to troubleshoot to figure it out. He will be greatly missed!

Reiner was a highly experienced Biomedical Service Engineer whose dedication and craftsmanship supported the care of tens of thousands of patients at Baptist Health Medical Center (Sparks) in Fort Smith over the course of more than 45 years of service. His professionalism, steady presence, and commitment to maintaining the medical equipment that our caregivers rely on made a profound and lasting impact on the entire healthcare community.
We honor Reiner not only for his expertise, but for the kindness and integrity he brought to his work every day. His absence will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the legacy he leaves behind and in the many lives his work helped to heal.

We visited often during our working years. I loved his sense of humor. He always gave us the straight answer regarding the equipment in the laboratory! My heartfelt condolences and prayers for Frances and the children.

The entire medical lab knew Reiner quite well. We all enjoyed his friendship and laughter.  So sad he passed but we are certain he’s in a wonderful place.  Sorry for you loss Frances. 🙏

I go to  Fort Smith Regional Dialysis Center.  I have been going since late September.  Reiner always kept to himself but was nice and he, Frank Harrington and I would always chat in the center’s lobby.  I remember this Friday we both walked out together and I patted him on his shoulder and wished him a great weekend.  I will be honest and will say that it’s disheartening to not see him there two seats to the left of me during treatment.  I will keep the family in my prayers.  He really was nice and I want to send condolences to you all.  God Bless

Such a privilege to care for such a precious man.  He always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude even when he was tired from his full work day and knew  he still  had a four hour dialysis session ahead.  The joy he expressed through conversations with the staff about his love for music and his family (especially those grandchildren) will truly be missed. Prayers and  Condolences from the FSRDC team.

What a great guy. I always enjoyed my interactions with him. He always had a smile on his face.

A good friend, a good bass player (and vocalist if you twisted his arm hard enough!), and an all-around good man.
