Rena Henry

Rena Henry, 94 of Arkoma passed away January 27, 2014 in Ft. Smith. She was born January 21, 1920 in Rock Island, OK to the late John and Gertrude Smith. Mrs. Henry was a member of Arkoma Assembly of God and retired from B & B Candy Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband J.L. “Jake” Henry and her daughter-in-law Glenda Henry.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Arkoma Assembly of God Church with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

She is survived her son Jesse Henry of Arkoma, her daughter Julie Bryant and her husband Jeff of Greenwood, three grandchildren; Tammy Henry Weatherford and her husband David of Broken Arrow, Hayden Henry of Tulsa, and Jenny Bryant of Tampa, FL and three great grandchildren; Aubrey Weatherford of Oklahoma City, Tara Weatherford and Jordan Henry both of Stillwater. Mrs. Henry is also survived by her very special cousin Juanita Lenox of Arkoma.

Pallbearers will be Noral Stamps, Joe Herbert, Jesse Johnson, Loyd McBride, Jeff Bryant, and Hayden Henry.

Viewing will be 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 29th at the funeral home.
