Reta Marlene Cook

Reta Marlene Cook, 67, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 1, 2021. She was born on August 26, 1953 in North Carolina to Bobby Leon Sims and Margaret Adkins Sims. Reta worked for Mercy Hospital for over 30 years. She was a devoted Christian and longtime member of Harvest Time Tabernacle. Reta enjoyed traveling, going to auctions and collecting antiques. Her greatest love in life was spending time with her beloved grandchildren Emery and Ashton

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her loving husband, Wayne Cook; one daughter and son in law, Tia and Dustin Schwartz of Frisco, TX; one son, John Aaron Cook of Antlers, OK; one sister and brother in law, Shelly and Rick Ayres of Bryant, AR; one brother and sister in law, Johnny and Donna Sims of Charleston, AR; two grandchildren, Emery and Ashton Schwartz of Frisco, TX; numerous extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Harvest Time Tabernacle. Cremation services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
