Richard was a graduate of Millsap High School and Texas Tech University. He worked as an entomologist in West Texas.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Hill; Step-Father, Jerry Hill; Father, Lional Felts; Step-Mother Lynn Felts; Brother, Will Felts; Step-Brother, Johnny Hill; Step-Sister, Becky Hill Johnson; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
