Rick Conger

Rick Conger, 57, of Fort Smith, passed from this life February 9, 2016 in Fort Smith. He was born June 5, 1958, in Fort Smith. Rick retired from Crain Industries as a supervisor and had worked at several other manufacturers in Fort Smith as a supervisor.

Rick is survived by his son, Nic Conger of Fort Smith; his mother, Joan Marie Maestri Conger of Fort Smith; his father, William Roland “Lucky” Conger of Stephenville, Texas; two brothers, William Roland “Trae” Conger III and Michael J. Conger and his wife Kaylee; five nieces and nephews, as well as five great nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his wife Adena Conger and his sister, Rebecca Louise Conger Medina.

A memorial service will be at 3:00pm Sunday, February 14, 2016 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, memorial be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 1820 North B Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901, Victory Temple Church, 3912 Brooken Hill Drive, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72908 or Mercy Hospice, 5401 Ellsworth Road, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72917.
